Garage Sale

So today we have a garage sale... This is our second (maybe third) garage sale so far. We were supposed to wake up at 5am to start setting up... I ended up staying awake all night.

So we started unloading all our crap out in front of our house in the pitch blackness of night. I decided to take this opportunity to mess around with my camera and snapped some pics (which I later messed around with trying to make HDR images).

Eva: Okay Rich, take all this crap out of the garage and sort it properly out here.
Rich's Brain: Crap I forgot the camera downstairs... I'll go get it as soon as she stops talking.

So here's what you need to make HDR photos.

1. Camera with adjustable exposure settings
2. Tripod... I don't have a tripod so I just put the camera on a desk and a table
3. Photomatix (there's other ways to do this but I did it this way)

So, you set your camera on the tripod (aka table) and then you snap a few photos using different exposure levels. I just used different shutter speeds for all the pics. For a first try I think they turned out "okay"... I'll try to take more interesting pics later.

After a couple hours of moving crap from inside of the house outside, I have a newfound respect for ANTS.

Here's something you might not know: Ping pong tables are freggin HEAVY!
My brother and I almost died lugging the thing outside. It was agreed that if it didn't sell, the ping pong table would take permanent residence outside.

Turns out that when I was just about finished this post it was time to bring everything that didn't sell back in... that was... fun...
Anyways, the Lee family is $200 richer. Money in the bank bitches!
