Chinese Lantern Festival

On Sunday we decided to go to the Chinese Lantern Festival at Ontario Place. I had no clue what the festival was or that it was even going on but when's the last time you went to a LANTERN FESTIVAL? It was kind of pricey though... $25 regular price, but we ordered online and got some deal where it cost $18. To look at lanterns... Chinese lanterns...

It was really nice to do something different (when's the last time you went through a mirror maze?) and I always like events where I get to take pictures =D

You can check out these pics on my flickr page for bigger versions and stupid notes and comments that I made.

Before we left, we passed this free outdoor karaoke box where it seems like contestants from canadian idol were practicing and somehow everyone got Young to sing Bohemian Rhapsody =D

He sang it like a champ!
Take care in Africa bro. Lions usually hunt at night.

Sorry about the crappy quality. My phone freaks out when the volume's too loud... and Young was rockin out so hard that my phone couldn't handle it and almost shattered in my hands.
(What's up with the kid that walks over by Young and chills there for a bit and then walks back? o_O)

It took me all day to setup lightbox(the picture loading thingy) and convert this video. I'm such a dork XD

I think you need to let the page load the css and js crap before it loads.

let us communicate via blog comments cause we are cool beans! :D
the kid is some random kid from some hair style website i was browsing earlier haha.
the spacing is kinda bobo. i want a teeny space after the text/blurb at the top of the post but < br > is way too big. @_@"

Copy his hair style! >=D

You'll probably have to mess around with your template to change the teeny space

Maybe I shall. I need to grow it more though to do that. @_@"

And dah.. too lazy to try and fiddle with template. Shall leave as is.

I didn't know you could also push 'c' to close lightbox. @_@"

Forgot to say.. I used to celebrate Lantern Festival every year when I was a kid. It was cool. Everybody would be walking around with little dinkey lanterns (you blow them up, insert batteries into the control pad thingie and switch it on to have some lightbulb inside the inflatable section power up) or the real paper ones where you gotta put a candle inside and everyones afraid to burn their hands off so no one wants to light it. Everyone also walks around with mooncake. @_@"
